Abt Associates has acquired Australia-based international health and social sector consulting firm JTA International. The acquisition extends the breadth and depth of Abt’s expertise in international health and development and offers new opportunities for diversifying the company’s client base.
Headquartered in Brisbane, Australia, and serving a wide range of international public and private sector clients in Australia and the Pacific, JTA will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Abt Associates and will be known as Abt JTA. It will continue to be led by the company’s founder Dr. Jane Thomason as CEO and the executive team.
Abt Associates is a global research and program implementation firm specializing in health, social and environmental policy and international development. It conducts work in more than 70 countries.
