Zeochem Group announced the recruitment of Chee Hong Tan as General Manager of Zeochem Pte. Ltd. being responsible for business development in South East Asia. In this new role, he will oversee the regional distributors and promote Zeochem products directly to key customers in the region.

In order to expand business to China and Asia, Zeochem Group has recently acquired Jiangsu ALSIO Technology based in China and established a sales office in Shanghai.

Chee Hong Tan is an international manager with more than 30 years of experience having held sales and marketing roles in the US, China, Asia and Australia. During the last 20 years Chee Hong worked for a large global company specializing in the manufacturing supply of adsorbents, catalyst and process technology. This period included 4 years as the General Manager of a Molecular Sieve company in Shanghai, 3 years as a China Sales Director for adsorbents and catalysts in Beijing and 3 years as the Regional Sales Director for SE Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Chee Hong has an MBA in International Business and Management from Brunel University in conjunction with Henley Management College, London. He holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Singapore Institute of Management and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the University of Melbourne.
