Bulletin News Adds New VP for Finance and Operations

RESTON, Va.

Bulletin News, a leading provider of customized news and open-source intelligence for top-level corporate and government executives, today announced that it has hired Chip Wallen as VP Finance and Operations. This is a new position that will assume day-to-day responsibility for accounting, human resources and a portion of the company’s legal work.

Wallen was most recently CFO at CQ Roll Call, an Economist Group business. While at Roll Call, he led the local team through valuation modeling, due diligence, purchase-agreement review, and financial business-integration activities for the acquisitions of Capitol Advantage, Congressional Quarterly, and Illumen, tripling the size of the company and forming CQ Roll Call. Prior to that, Wallen was the Controller and Business Manager at Legal Times, Treasury Manager at Congressional Quarterly, and held positions with Jones Intercable, TeleCable/TCI and Milliken & Company. He holds an MBA from the College of William and Mary and a BA from the University of Virginia, in Chemistry.
