Health Purchasing Victoria, the collective purchasing organization for public health services and hospitals in Victoria, has partnered with BravoSolution to bolster its procurement performance and improve the sourcing process for its health service customers and suppliers.
Responsible to the Minister for Health and funded by the Department of Health and Human Services, Health Purchasing Victoria facilitates large scale tenders and manages collective contracts in more than 40 categories spanning clinical, indirect materials and services and equipment verticals.
BravoSolution will replace the incumbent software provider and bring a fully functional, end-to-end suite of strategic sourcing tools that will transform the organization’s procurement process, improving overall collaboration, standardization and efficiency.

New Approach Removes Barriers for Buyers and Suppliers
The BravoSolution strategic sourcing suite will provide Victoria’s healthcare buyers with an easy-to-use and centralized platform to run sourcing events, manage contracts and collaborate with suppliers. This new system will underpin a larger scale procurement transformation project at Health Purchasing Victoria and will replace a previously resource-intensive and manual procurement process. The new system promises to drive significant operational efficiencies, improve user adoption and in the longer term, reduce costs.
In phase one of the project, Health Purchasing Victoria will implement BravoSolution’s e-sourcing, contract management and vendor management solutions.
BravoSolution will also make the sourcing process more streamlined and less resource-intensive for suppliers. The eSourcing platform will enable suppliers to manage their company details, store their credentials, easily bid and win business at no cost, opening the door for more small and medium-sized businesses to work with Health Purchasing Victoria.
