GWANGMYEONG, South Korea
LIGHTTALK, a startup established in Gwangmyeong, South Korea, sells and rents the LightQueen UVC+plasma toilet seat sterilizer.
When LightQueen, a rotating UVC plasma toilet seat sterilizer, is attached to the toilet cover and closed, it turns 90 degrees to move to the center of the toilet and uses UVC ultraviolet rays to sanitize the toilet seat and the inside of the toilet.
LightQueen sets itself apart from other UV sterilizers, which use only a few LED lamps to keep the price down, by using nine LED lamps in total: four on the top of the toilet seat, four on the bottom of it, and one inside of the toilet bowl directing toward the water surface.
LightQueen is a hybrid device that includes a plasma generation module, which has been shown to be effective in powerful sterilization, deodorization, and air purification. The product employs a safe plasma module developed by Plabank Co., Ltd which has 40 years of plasma research expertise. Test analysis has shown LightQueen’s plasma has reduced E. coli by 93.7% and eliminate 99.1% of mRNA floating viruses.
Toilets, where excrement is discharged, are hazardous environments that put our health at risk. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), feces cause 80% of all illnesses globally. One gram of feces contains about one million bacteria and ten million viruses. Some research findings suggest that corona viruses may survive in stools for six hours and in urine for up to three days.
LIGHTTALK is dedicated to developing distinctive services and innovative products that improve the hygiene of restrooms which are the most vulnerable locations for people to get exposed to infections in daily life. lighttalk.co.kr
