On March 2, TCL took another step to pay tribute to Hong Kong’s anti-epidemic “retrograders”, donating 200,000 disposable masks and 1,500 pieces of protective clothing to the Hong Kong police force. Mr. Li Kin-fai, Director of Personnel and Training of the Hong Kong Police Force, Ms. Lau Fung Ha, Chief Superintendent (Per Services & Staff Relations)(Per Wing)of the Hong Kong Police Force, Mr. Wang Daoyuan, consultant of TCL Multimedia Technology Holdings Limited and TCL Communications Technology Holdings Limited, and Ms. Xiong Yan, Deputy Chief of the Chairman’s Office of TCL Technology Holdings Limited attended the donation ceremony. It is reported that preparations for this donation were started one month ago. TCL purchased relevant materials from overseas, tried its best to overcome the lag in procurement and transportation, and donated the materials as soon as they arrived to express its sincere admiration and full support for the professionalism of the Hong Kong police force.

At present, the prevention and control of epidemic in Hong Kong is under greater pressure. The Hong Kong Police Force, while carrying out its routine police work, has also taken on the task of helping other government departments to fight the epidemic. Hong Kong police force has always been active in the forefront of epidemic prevention. TCL’s contribution is intent to provide effective assistance to the frontline anti-epidemic personnel of the police force and played a positive role in the prevention and control of the epidemic in Hong Kong.

Up to now, the total donation funds and materials have exceeded 20.51 million yuan. As a global enterprise, TCL has responded positively to the call of the state. Under the premise of policy permits and ensuring safe production, global business is carried out in an orderly manner. Among them, TCL Wuhan CSOT located in the worst-hit area of the epidemic. Its low-temperature polycrystalline silicon display devices account for 20% of the global supply. In order to ensure the supply of global industrial chain, Wuhan CSOT still maintains 85% of the production capacity during the most severe period of the epidemic. The team works closely with each other to ensure the delivery, and at the same time makes every effort to prevent the spread of epidemic inside of the company. So far, there has been no confirmed Corona virus case in Wuhan CSOT factory. TCL’s move has set a good example in terms of resuming work, resuming production, epidemic prevention, and stabilizing operations.
