FX Creations’ Spacewalker second generation backpack is coming out soon! Spacewalker, an ergonomic children’ backpack, lives up to its name by providing a weightless feeling to users. Integrated with patented Anti Gravity SystemTM (AGS) technology, this backpack can help reduce the rate of muscle fatigue and lowers the risk of musculoskeletal injuries. The second generation children backpack is more advanced and lightweight than the previous version. It is made to handle more weight, complimented by a lightweight EVA back padding that is shock absorbing and spine protecting.
Aimed to eradicate the problem of heavy backpacks children faced commuting to and from school, FX Creations designed the first Spacewalker backpack in 2016 which was later awarded the 2016 Hong Kong Award for Industries – Consumer Product Design – Certificate of Merit. An award recognized by Hong Kong design organizations and supported by the Hong Kong government.

- Anti Gravity SystemTM (AGS) Patented Technology
The AGS system uses an elastic suspension* to reduce the metabolic cost of walking by load distribution and dynamic load compensation. A test conducted at Guangzhou Sport University has proven that this suspension system helps slow down the rate of muscle fatigue, lowers the chance of musculoskeletal injuries, and enables faster muscle recovery compared to non AGS backpacks. Participants of the test expressed feeling lighter weights in their backpack compared to a non-AGS backpack. Simply put, AGS technology makes the backpack feel less heavy, leaving the user less tired and feeling more rejuvenated.*Elastic material has been tested and can withstand 150,000 mechanical pulls within 48 hours without distortion.
- EVA back cushioning
SpaceWalker back padding is made with lightweight EVA material that is shock absorbing, providing extra protection for the user’s back and spine. The straps are covered with Tri-breatheTM mesh material enabling ventilation leaving the user feeling fresh.
- Removable waist belt
To help stabilize the load around the users’ waist, a removable hip belt is provided. The belt is made with breathable material that is shock absorbing and durable.
