CSIRO, the scientific and research organization for Australia responsible for the breakthrough science at the heart of innovations such as WiFi communications, extended wear contact lenses, and the black box used in aviation, will host its first-ever Silicon Valley Innovation Summit & Showcase on Feb 17th in Palo Alto. The event will showcase breakthrough new scientific developments and technologies and outline ways CSIRO plans to increase collaboration with leading tech companies, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, academics, and other influencers in the Silicon Valley technology community.

With more than 5,000 experts and a burning desire to get things done, CSIRO is Australia’s catalyst for innovation.

Join CSIRO CEO Larry Marshall, CSIRO scientists and experts, and Forecaster Paul Saffo as they discuss research and work in Advanced Agriculture and Food, Energy and Resources, Water, Big Data, Advanced Materials, Pharma and MedTech, and the global cultural and societal trends that are shaping new innovations.
