TAIPEI, Taiwan
Photonics Festival in Taiwan (PFT) 2013 and the concurrently held Display Taiwan 2013 will be once again in the spotlight from June 18th to 20th, 2013. This year’s show will take place in TWTC Nangang Exhibition Hall, with the scale of Photonics Festival in Taiwan combining Display Taiwan 2012 to reach 1,500 booths. This year’s features will focus on 3D printing, biophotonics, plant factory, and Hon-Hai 70 inch TV.
3D printing
PFT, held by Photonics Industry and Technology Development Association (PIDA), is the first international exhibition to ever showcase in Taiwan. As quoted in the Economist, now a third revolution is under way. Manufacturing is going digital with 3D printing. In response to the trend, PIDA specifically sets up a 3D printing Pavilion to invite the leading Taiwanese solution provider to demonstrate the latest 3D printing software/hardware.
Biophotonics
As health issues become the major concerns for modern people, another bright spot of this exhibition falls on the first B2B pavilion for Biophotonics & Telemedicine Taiwan 2013, which will demonstrate the biophotnics technology and products in related fields such as biosensor, medical image, medical laser, lighting application, telemedicine and so on. Presently, BenQ Medical Technology, Taiwan Optics, 、GAMC Biotech, Forward Electronics and Biomedical Technology and Device Research Laboratories of ITRI are the major exhibitors.
Plant Factory
The PIDA-hosted Plant Factory exhibition seeks to help the industry look for successful implementation of the commercial models, and to combine culture and creative ideas to enhance the industry value. The Plant Factory exhibition stresses the importance of LED applications and expands its reach into forestry, fishery, animal husbandry applications/business opportunities.
Display Taiwan 2013 to see Hon-Hai’s participation for the first time ever!
Meanwhile, Display Taiwan 2013 will be inaugurated on June 18th at Nangang Exhibition Hall with joint effort from four industry groups- PIDA, SEMI, TAITRA, and TCA in Taiwan. Display Taiwan demonstrates the most remarkable and emerging technologies for current and future markets.
PIDA also proudly announces that Hong-hai has joined this exhibition for the first time. Hong-hai will demonstrate large-size 70 inch displays using new advanced display technologies to catch the eyes of visitors.
To make this event even better, the organizers invite more overseas buyers from dozens of countries, such as USA, Germany, Japan, Korea, Mainland China, and other emerging countries.
