RockTape™, the world’s strongest brand of kinesiology tape, will partner with principal strength and conditioning program, CrossFit and premium athletic performance enhancing supplement provider, PROGENEX, to embark on Operation Gratias, or a “mission of thanks.” The mission will supply the troops at Camp Phoenix in Afghanistan with kinesiology tape, vitamin supplements and workout recovery products. All three privately owned companies are passionate about this cause and have combined their resources and donated product in an effort to fund the mission.
“Our troops have sacrificed so much to ensure our freedom, the least we could do is supply them with product that helps them train and heal from the rigors of combat life,” says RockTape CEO Greg van den dries. “Operation Gratias is our way of showing them how much our community supports and honors them and their families.”
RockTape, CrossFit and PROGENEX will send support to Camp Phoenix, a NATO installation that serves all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, including the National Guard Soldiers, Active Duty Navy, Air Force, and Marine personnel. Approximately $50,000 worth of supplies and equipment has been shipped for delivery the week of April 22.

To bring awareness to the mission, RockTape has launched local city events, inviting communities in Santa Cruz, California and in the San Jose, California area to sign a “banner of thanks” that will be presented to the troops.
